Worlds of the Outer Rim are rich in raw resources but lack the population, infrastructure, or political power of the Core. Waves of colonization (and conquest) by the Republic gradually spread outward from the Core, into the sparser systems at the galaxy's edge, such as Tatooine. The first major interstellar powers in the core are stated to have risen many millennia ago, gradually coalescing into the early Galactic Republic, with its capital at Coruscant. Rian Johnson pulled it off, making what might be the best Star Wars movie ever. There’s a scene in # StarWars # TheLastJedi that I keep playing over and over in my head, that is so stunning and unexpected that I don’t want to forget how I felt seeing it for the first time. This movie feels unlike any other Star Wars movie in all the ways I hoped. Not only are Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill at their very best as Leia and Luke in this movie, but Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver blow Rey and Kylo Ren out of the park. I didn’t expect where those characters went and it’s my favorite part of the movie.
And the team nail so much – thrills, laughs, heart and most of all, pushing the characters/overall franchise a major step forward.Īn adventure as epic & sweeping as all the other films combined, with laughs, tears, and moments that will make your head pop off.
